Makeup:

I loved these 3 looks. A bold lip with gold eye shadow is pretty simple really but always a stunner!

I also love the look of a neutral eye, maybe with a wing to spice it up a little.  Then a pink lip gloss.  I have been loving Bare Minerals Lip Glosses lately, I think the colors flirt or heartbreaker would look so pretty (how fitting are those names). Or maybe you just want a more subtle look with a pink look.  I think this look is so romantic and pretty.

You couldn't go wrong either way!

I think these products will help you acheive all of these looks! I've gathered high end items and drugstore!

This year, I think Henry and I are laying pretty low, but I still want to dress up a little in some pink or red.  I'm loving a deep burgundy sweater or a white twist sweater.  Just something a little different.  I also found these beautiful red dresses. I dont think you need to go all out.  Just through on a cute pair of heels and match it with one of the make up looks! But you can also go all out to a fancy dinner.  I am a firm believer that Valentines day is how you want to spend it, whether its curled up on the couch or out to a fancy dinner!

I pulled some items for every occasion!

Freebies

I wanted to give some freebies out for Valentines Day as my treat to you! Whether you're putting together a galentines event, making coupons for your man or just giving a card, I've got you covered!

8 Fall Make Up Items

Ahh, fall, its my favorite season for so many different reasons. I love the crisp air, the leaves changing, scarfs and warm drinks. And I love fall makeup! So I thought I'd share some of my favorite items for the fall that you will see me wearing over and over again.

REMEMBER WHEN SHOPPING: Use Ebates for cash back and coupons! Honey is a great back up when Ebates doesn't work on the site.

EYES

I love the warm tones in these palettes, I gave you something a little high end and lower end.  I love all the mattes in these palettes but they also offer some shimmer shadows for those pops. Both of these palettes blend really well and mix together great.  I love how many eye looks I can get with them.

I know that summer is all about the bright and fresh look, but I like the simplicity of fall too.  I like poping either a neutral or warm tone in my crease and just throwing some mascara on.  This is my tried and true mascara but I am in the market for a new one.  So if you have any recommendations let me know!

FACE

Blush: I love darker shades of blush or more neutral since summer is all about the lighter pops of color.  This blush is my tried and true, a natural one and it stays on all day.  I really like the Tarte line of blushes.

Summer is all about the golden tones and bronze but I think it's good to still bring some highlight into the fall.  I love champagne pop because it can be subtle, or more if you want it and looks amazing on all skin tones, even my super fair skin. I like just adding a little bit of pop!

LIPS

Lips: Of course it's all about the dark vampy lip in the fall but I also really love me a good nude, so I go for something a little darker though.  I love the bite beauty line, the colors are super pigmented and creamy.  Fig, Chia, or Rhubarb are some of my favorites

With the air getting colder, its super important to keep your body, face, and lips hydrated. Especially with all those liquid lipsticks, we love so much! So this is my go-to chapstick that I'm obsessed with.  I'm also pretty sure its a men's line, but it lasts me forever.  It's thicker and REALLY does hydrate.  Not to mention it smells great, I love the shea butter one.

On that note, a little something extra I like is this aloe facial spray that just helps settle my makeup after powdering and gives my face a little extra moisture for the day without making it oily!

Sephora & Ulta Sale Wish List

Guys, theres one thing I love more than makeup and thats makeup on sale! Sephora is having their semi-annual sale from April 20-23 and Ulta is also having 20% off. I dont really NEED much but boy do I want it! So I have rounded up something I have my eye on.  Let me know if you have tried any or have recommendations!

Skincare

Moisturizer (Night Time) - I have seen wonderful reviews and I like putting a heavier moisturizer on at night and waking up with refreshed skin.  I had a small tub of this as a sample and really liked it.

Moisturizer (Day Time) - This use to be my ride or die and I tried some new ones.  I think with summer around the corner Im going back!

Cleansing Sponge - I already had one of these but it's a little bit of a hassle to move it from my skin to my shower, so I love it SO much Im going to get another.  Highly recommend, it deep cleans and it gentle.

Make up Remover Wipes - I really feel like the Sephora Collection doesn't get enough attention.  I love make up wipes for before I wash myself just to make life a little easier! I am interested in seeing the exfoliating side.

Spot Treatment - I am trying to go a little more natural with my products and really liking Origins recently, so I wanted to give this a go!

Makeup

Primer - Like I said I really think that the Sephora collection is underrated.  I am assuming this is one of their newer products since it doesn't have many reviews but Im willing to take a chance! Especially since Sephora has such an amazing return policy!

Foundation Option 1 - So I know this isn't AMAZING for oily skin but I really like how it applies, I got color matched perfectly, and I love the finish of it.  I think its beautiful!

Foundation Option 2 - I use to LOVE this foundation, but honestly it was a little thick.  Im hoping since I have learned how to better apply foundation that I will fall in love with it once again.  It was wonderful for oily skin.

Brow Pencil & Finishing Powder - I currently have both of these and they are a must have for me. So I am just restocking, also there is a NYX sale and I think I may need to go lighter with my brow since summer is coming!

Whats on your list?!

March Product Review

Hey guys! So I recently splurged at Ulta for some things I have been having my eye on.  I wanted to give you a review and let you know my thoughts.  Like the Glam Glow Mask ... is it really worth $69?! Read on my friends!

Origins Face Mask - I usually get mask for acne and drawing out impurities but I have had such dry skin recently and I had someone tell me that getting things for sensitive skin rather than acne would help my skin more.  I had heard really great reviews on this mask so I thought I'd give it a try.  I love this mask! It has 2 cons in my mind, 1 the smell, its pretty strong, I think its suppose to be eucalyptus. 2 Its pretty hard to get off, I have to use a wash cloth, hands don't do it and its still tricky.  My skin is so soft after though and I think it helps to calm my face down a lot and I didnt break out from it!

Benefit Hoola - Okay so I get what all the hype is about.  This stuff is so blend able, this is the first bronzer I feel like I can actually use to contour without looking orange.  It does have more of an orange undertone than ash, so it can be orange if you use too much.  I just love how well it blends.  I do hate the packaging though, the brush isn't great and its hard to get my brush in there.

March favorite products beauty skin care

Yes Micellar Water - I had been hearing a lot about micellar water, how it just adheres to your makeup taking it off.  I really liked this stuff at first, it feels like water which is nice because it takes off a ton of makeup and you don't have residue left over.  How ever if you do use too much it does become soapy.  I got this one since my skin is sensitive but it isn't powerful enough to really get off mascara or anything like that.  Its nice and hydrating but you have to wash your face after this isn't enough!

NYX Blush - This blush looks VERY orangey I will admit.  But Im so glad I gave it a chance.  I love this color it is super natural and give me a nice glow. It's build able which I find really nice in blush so that you can add however much you want.  I hate when you try blush and one swipe you're like WOO I look like a clown.  I love this line and I want to try out more of NYX blushes!

Glam Glow- This stuff is cool I have to admit, and it leaves your skin so soft.  But I never really saw a difference in my skin.  I liked the origins mask a lot more.  I didnt see an improvement in my acne, I think all it did was draw out some oil which quickly came back.  Not worth the price tag especially with how little product you get.  Thankfully I used a gift card on this!

Physician's Formula Bronzer - I had heard really great things about this bronzer in the Youtube Community, especially by people with fair skin so I had to try.  Again I find it really natural and build able which I love! PSA this seems like straight up pina colada's, which I absolutely HATE.  If you like its then you'll love it.  But I like this bronzer enough to look past the smell.

If you haven't read my post comparing pallets, then you would have no idea how much I love this pallet.  It's extremely pigmented and blend able.  I love it so much. Im a huge fan of cool toned eye shadows and I feel like I can never find them all together.  Seriously I love this pallet, it had everything; transition colors, mattes, shimmers and pop's of color! What more could you need?!

Too Faced, NYX, & Morphe Palette Battle

Hi Friends, here is a new post for all the make up lovers out there. So I recently got the Sweet Peach Palette and the NYX Cool Palette and I wanted to do a comparison between them and the Jaclyn Hill Palette by Morphe.  I was testing the colors and showing you some of my favorite while looking at how the eyeshadow blends, price and color variation! I love Palettes so much because they are easy to travel with and you can make so many differeent eye looks.

Sweet Peach Palette by Two Faced - $49

First off this Palette really does smell like peaches.  Even though I have used it for 3 months and as a hard core peach Snapple lover, Im no mad.  I like the color variation in this Palette even though I wish there was a better transition color.  I love the pops of color, with the green, purples and blue.  This is a awesome Palette for smokey eyes I think.

First thing I have to say about this Palette is the shimmers are amazing and super pigmented.  The shadows aren't really a buttery consistency, but they still blend out really nicely.  The darker colors though are a lot more patchy and a little but harder to work with.  I don't use them as often so but still a bummer.

NYX Cool Neutrals Palette Review Swatch

I am a sucker for cool tones. I have green eyes with some blue and I think they are so pretty.  I love this Palette, it has a lot of tranistion colors, some shimmy and some matte.  It is the perfect combination and there really isn't a color I don't like. The tranistion color (1) is goregous and really nice on fair skin.

NYX Cool Neutrals Palette Review Swatch

This Palette is extremely pigmented and pretty buttery.  The darks aren't patchy like Too Faced.  But you do need to use a light hand with them.  I think they blend out really nicely and just have all the colors I love! I have created so many different looks; natural, smokey and in between!

This description is to more tell you what Morphe Palettes are like.  You get a lot of colors and bang for you buck since the Palettes are around $20.  These colors are super pigmented and some of these colors are so buttery they like melt in your hand.  I love the shimmers more than the matte I think.  They have so many variations of Palettes I would highly recommend picking one up.  Its so versatile.  I love my NYX Palette but this is so nice to travel with.

If I had to pick a favorite I'd pick the NYX one just because those are all the colors I gravitate towards and the quality is pretty awesome.  I'd love to hear what products you have been loving lately!
