Whether you're going for something more casual or dressed up! Read till the end to check out some of the freebie's I've made for you!

REMEMBER WHEN SHOPPING: Use Ebates for cash back and coupons! Honey is a great back up when Ebates doesn't work on the site.

Makeup:

I loved these 3 looks. A bold lip with gold eye shadow is pretty simple really but always a stunner!

I also love the look of a neutral eye, maybe with a wing to spice it up a little.  Then a pink lip gloss.  I have been loving Bare Minerals Lip Glosses lately, I think the colors flirt or heartbreaker would look so pretty (how fitting are those names). Or maybe you just want a more subtle look with a pink look.  I think this look is so romantic and pretty.

You couldn't go wrong either way!

I think these products will help you acheive all of these looks! I've gathered high end items and drugstore!

This year, I think Henry and I are laying pretty low, but I still want to dress up a little in some pink or red.  I'm loving a deep burgundy sweater or a white twist sweater.  Just something a little different.  I also found these beautiful red dresses. I dont think you need to go all out.  Just through on a cute pair of heels and match it with one of the make up looks! But you can also go all out to a fancy dinner.  I am a firm believer that Valentines day is how you want to spend it, whether its curled up on the couch or out to a fancy dinner!

I pulled some items for every occasion!

Freebies

I wanted to give some freebies out for Valentines Day as my treat to you! Whether you're putting together a galentines event, making coupons for your man or just giving a card, I've got you covered!

My word for 2018

Hi friends, happy 2018! I asked you on Instagram if you wanted to know my word of the year and you answered!

So last year my word was "present" and boy was that a FAIL!

My goal was to be more present in the things I was doing and not let my anxiety take me away from the moment.  And that didn't work.  What I did do in 2017 was grow.  So I feel like my word should have really been grow. (Who knew).  Usually with growth theres a lot of discomfort and changes.  I would say that was my year in a nut shell.  I worked a lot on my relationships, anxiety and just making my everyday life different and better.  It took a lot of work and was exsaushting at times but Im so happy I did it.  I think its really setting me up for a much more successful 2018!

Here are some great things that happened in 2017.  And some not great things, because despite what Instagram tells you no one's life is perfect.

YAYS:

  • Getting engaged!

  • A baby nephew

  • Professional growth

NAYS:

  • A set back in my struggle with anxiety and depression (which Im happy to say now after a lot of work Ive come out of)

  • My childhood dog passing away

  • Disappointments in friendships

This year Im getting married and I feel like I did a lot of ground work to just enjoy this year. So this year my word is REVEL.

Revel word of the year new years resolution

Maybe not all the drinking and dancing but definitely a little bit of it! I just want to enjoy everything that life has in store for me and really soak up this year because this exciting time only comes around once.  I worked really hard last year and I think it's time I enjoy it a little!

So tell me whats your word!?

Where I find Inspiration

Hi Guys, I recently got an email sent to me asking about how I find inspiration.  I thought what a cool question and I wanted to make a post out of it.  Ps you can always contact me if you want here

Here were some of my thoughts:

Overall creatively I find inspiration from trying different things, or opening my world.  Like reading a book or drawing.

When it comes to the wallpapers: I was a marketing major and I use to work at an agency where it was almost like a competition of who had the coolest wallpaper. I saw on pinterest a few with calendars but none for the current month.  My fiancé had some graphic design/photoshop background and I asked him to update the month.  Fast forward a few month I had to switch jobs and got a very analytical job.  I wanted to start my blog to talk about what I knew and really have a creative outlet.  To me it is an outlet and I love designing them over month! I get inspired by wallpapers I have done in the past, photos I see, nature or even other peoples designs!

When it comes to the blog: I try to write what I know.  So when I was traveling a lot I wrote about some tips I picked up.  I love my real talk post where I just share my feelings that aren't always rainbows because I think it can help someone else out there. I get inspiration from just my every day.  I also really like to read other peoples blogs to see their thoughts and what they are writing about.  I also see what I want to read from other people!

So I'd like to know from you! Where do you find inspiration?

Spring Decor

I don't know about you but I am so ready for some warmer weather!! Now that I have my own place, I like switching out a few items in my apartment depending on the season.  So I wanted to share what I switch out and give you some inspiration ideas!

Be sure to use Ebates, to get some money back on your online purchases!! You'll get $10 automatically!

1. Greenery - I love adding some green plants, succulents or faux plants to really liven the place up.  Here are some of my favorites! I love the white pots because of how clean it looks, but you could change out the color of the pots to add more color.  You also can go to places like At Home or Michael and make your own faux arrangement.  I just really like fake arrangements since you can keep them year round and don't have to worry about watering them!

2. Switch out your pillows - This is a super inexpensive and easy way to just change your whole room! I have been loving these recently, I clearly like geometric shapes!

3. Decorative tray - I have a decorative tray on our coffee table and I love switching things out on it.  Wether it's candles, lanterns or what.  It's something easy to change for every season. Here is some inspiration:

4. Swap out candles - I love changing candles based on the time of year.  I love the floral and clean smells that I accociate with spring.

5. Switch out towels- Again another easy way to change the color scheme of your room!

I really like greens, blues, whites and pinks.  This screams spring to me.  I think that adding rustic pieces is great for year round too cause with just a little tweaking the fit every season.

So what do you do to change your decor from season to season?!

Office Decor Ideas

Hi Guys, today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite desk items!  I am a firm believer that the space around you can either help you or hurt you.  Whether you have a messy desk which can create a messy mind or a clean desk with items that inspire you!

I MUST always have a journal or calendar with me, Im constantly writing things does it helps me so much.  I love things that help to organize and combine things as well so that not too much space is taken up on my desk.  I've added a few things too that allow you to hang photos or showcase quotes.  I think adding motivation things to your desk just helps to put you in a nice mindset as well!

REMEMBER WHEN SHOPPING: Use Ebates for cash back and coupons! Honey is a great back up when Ebates doesn't work on the site.

One // Two // Three // Four // Five // Six //

I'm clearly really loving the gold theme lately if you couldn't tell.  Along with journals and organizational things,  I love adding some greenery, whether its faux plants, succulents or a bouquet, I just love them all.  Something I have also been loving too is Exotic Pink Salts Himalayan Salt Lamp, 1 Pound help with allergens and an all over good vibe.  Im also OBSESSED with these little cactus guys and their pots!
