Current June Favorites

Summer is a time to try some new things and trends and thats exactly what I have been doing.  So Im sharing with you some of the things I have been recently loving.  And I'd love to know what you have been trying and loving whether its summer or winter for you!

Bandana's - I am loving that bandana's are making a come back in a super cute way.  I recently ordered one off Roolee!

Chambray TOMS - I usually go for something really neutral for my feet but I wanted something a little but more fun for the summer time so I got these TOMS.  What do you think, cute?

Target Candles - I love these candles.  Not only do they smell great but my plan in that once I have used them up Im going to put them on my makeup desk and use them for my cotton rounds or Q-tips.  I love reusing candle holders for items around my house.

Ebates - I have had to buy so much stuff recently for the wedding, whether its undergarments, my shoes or my bridal shower dress.  So I am buying a ton online and Ebates has helped me to make some money back on those purchases!

Face Pads & Moisturizer - I was trying out some new facial pads and moisturizer and I could tell it just wasn't helping my skin so I went back to basics and my skin is much happier so far!

New purse - It was time I updated my work bag and I love how many compartments this has.  Also the compartment on the bottom is perfect for me to put my packed lunch and not get my papers gross or wet for some reason!

Comment below and tell me what you've been loving!

Favorite Hair Products

I feel like as Im getting older Im trying to take much better care of my hair.  Fun fact, I have "virgin" hair as stylist like to call it.  Meaning its all natural and not dyed at all! So I wanted to share with you some of my favorite items to keep it healthy and strong. and of course most of these products are really affordable!

REMEMBER WHEN SHOPPING: Use Ebates for cash back and coupons! Honey is a great back up when Ebates doesn't work on the site.

A little bit about my hair, its super fine but I have a good amount of it.  Its pretty straight and gets oily easily.  Just so you know when I recommend my favorites!

Shampoo & Conditioner - I really like the sulfate free, because I have oily hair and this way there's less build up on my hair.  This shampoo and conditioner is biodegradable, meaning it doesn't fill up landfills! These smell really good too and aren't overpowering.

Put in after a shower - Sometimes I put this in after the shower since it has so many different things it does just to help my hair overall!

Dry Shampoo - I have a high end and low end option.  I don't like the white cast, but it is nice to see where the dry shampoo is going.  These are the two I can stand.  I don't like the scented ones and the ones for blonde just turn my hair a gross yellow

Heat Protectant - Im learning more and more how important this it.  I have been putting more heat on my hair with blow drying it in the winter and using heat protectant allows more time inbetween hair cuts.  Here is the high end and the low end

Sea Salt Spray - This is great for when I curl my hair and I dont want my hair to become one big wave. It doesn't make my hair feel gross like I was worried about and you don't need much.

Curling Irons - I like this one for more waves.  I have found that a 1 1/4 inch curling iron is the best for getting some curls but not having my hair curly! And the wave keeps, usually my ahir falls so quickly but I've had no trouble with that wand. The nume is great for curls they work so well. Nume may seem like they have a heavy price tag but in my experience they have a lot of sales so dont worry! I also like hte wands for the beachy look.  I have trouble with the clamps and getting lines in my hair to be honest haha.

Lightening Spray - Sometimes I spray a little of this lightening spray when Im out in the sun to speed up the process.  But be careful one summer in college I went overboard and my whole head just turned VERY light, it didn't look natural so I'd use it sparingly.

Hair Masks - I dont do hair mask too much but it my hair needs a little bit more moisture this is what I tend to use

Here are all the products Ive mentioned!

Another thing I will say that really helps my hair is that I don't put a lot of heat on it and I think that keeps it really healthy.  And one I do notice split ends I go and get a trim to help it stay healthy! So tell me! What are some of your favorate products?

October Current Favorites

Hi Guys, so I want to just share some things that I have been loving this month and last month.  I love fall so much, its just my absolutely favorite season and Im trying to enjoy it best I can!

REMEMBER WHEN SHOPPING: Use Ebates for cash back and coupons! Honey is a great back up when Ebates doesn't work on the site.

  1. My make up bag from Etsy.  You can find it here! I wanted something cute and there are A TON on Etsy but I loved the canvas and this saying.  It only cost me like $15, and it surprisingly fits a lot of makeup which is always a win for me.  This one doesn’t have a liner but you can get them with it.
  2. This candle, theres so many pumpkin candles out there but this nutty one just makes my apartment smell like a pumpkin bakery.  Its strong but not over powering
  3. Chapstick.  With the colder months my skin is getting drier, I have been steering away from Burt’s Bee’s because sometimes I find them chalky.  But not this one and I love the scent.
  4. Essie nail polish.  I love this fall color, its called Spiked with Style and I have been loving Essie’s Gel Nail polish.  You can read all about my review here.
  5. I got this mug for my birthday from Etsy as well.  There’s so many cute options on there but this was one I just had to have.  Here is the easy shop!
  6. Tea. I have been drinking a lot more tea but this one said it would help my skin, so I had to give it a try! I really like the taste and its caffeine free so I can start or end my day with it.  I’m hoping it helps!
  7. Vinyl Subscription.  I have been loving getting new vinyls to add to my collection.  Its so convinient and pretty inexpensive for vinyls.  I have $10 off if you want a subscription! Just email me at candidlykeri@gmail.com and I can give it to you!

March Favorites: Beauty Products

Hi Guys, these are my beauty favorites for the month, things that I have been loving at the end of winter and going into spring.  I can't wait for Spring and bright colors and pastels!

REMEMBER WHEN SHOPPING: Use Ebates for cash back and coupons! Honey is a great back up when Ebates doesn't work on the site.

Okay guys, I am obsessed.  I have totally converted and I use it for so many things, post to come soon!

Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Unscented: I love this this dry shampoo, its super light and soaks in so quickly.  I love products that don't make my hair feel like there is residue in it.  Some of the dry shampoo I have used too have really weird scents so that's why I went with unscented.

Estee Lauder Blush in Sensuous Rose: This matte mauve-y pink is perfect.  It looks so natural on my pale skin and is pigmented but never looks like it is too much on my skin

Nyx Taupe Blush: I saw Nikki Tutorials, on Youtube (who also has fair skin) use this as a contour color and man is she right.  It is ashy and had a cool undertone instead of orange like a lot of contour colors.  It doesn't look dirty and blends super well.  Also loving the price tag!

Morphe Brush M495: This is used for contouring and I love it because I can dust it on my face but still feel like I am giving myself definition.

Sephora Luster Matte in Fig: This purple mauve color always transforms my make up look.  It is a few darker shades, than "better than my lips". I just love this Sephora collection and it dried really nicely and last a few hours.

REMEMBER WHEN SHOPPING: Use Ebates for cash back and coupons! Honey is a great back up when Ebates doesn't work on the site.

What are you looking forward to? And remember like this post if you enjoy these types of post!
