April Favorites

Hi, Guys! I didn't have as many favorites this month so I decided to combine them all! And here are something that I am loving:

"After I Do" Book - I have been getting back into reading, trying to read a book about every other week.  Check out my review of this book here.
Becca Matte Primer - I re-fell in love with this primer.  It's a must have for oily skin, it helps me stay matte all day! BUT I will warn you, you have to exfoliate and hydrate your skin really well with this or else it will show dry skin and your foundation won't lay nicely.
Sephora Liquid Lipsticks - I think these products are super underrated.  They aren't dying at all and last a few solid hours.  They don't have the staying power of liquid lipsticks but they last much longer than lipsticks and wear really nicely.  I love the color selection as well.  My only problem is they look very similar in the bottle even though that are really different.
Snapple Ice Tea Packets - I LOVE SNAPPLE. End of story but no really these are delicious and really really cost effective.  I'm also trying to help up my water intake and this helps greatly.
Soy Milk - I am trying to cut down on my dairy intake a little due to cystic acne that I just can't shake.  (if you have any recommendation, please!! let me know).  And I'm not a huge fan of almond milk but I'm really digging soy and try to replace it where ever I can.
Pineapples - I mean if you've looked at my site in the past month, I'm obsessed and just had to throw it in there.
Music Monday - I really enjoy writing these post, and I hope you are too!
What are some of your favorites this month??

Book Review: After I Do

Hi Friends, I recently was on vacation in Florida visiting my parents.  And I don't know about you but one of the things I find most relaxing in life is reading a book.  I am the type of person who gets completely engulfed in book.  On my bucket list for 25 before 25 one thing on my list is to read 25 books in 18 months.  I read three on vacation.  But I REALLY enjoyed the book "After I Do: A Novel" by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

The book is about a married couple who is at a standstill in their relationship unsure of how to go forward.  They know they love each other but they can no longer stand each other.  They decided to take a year off from each other with no contact.  The story follows Lauren and her quest to figure out what marriage and relationships are about.

I honestly felt like I learned a lot of life lessons, about how not to take your significant other for granted and how communication is so key.  Along with honesty, even if it may hurt their feelings, honesty coming from a good place is better than resentment at the end of the day,

review of the book after I do book club reading

It was a page turner for me, and although it was an easy read it really struck cords with me.  From the family dynamic to self love.  I'd highly recommend this book!  Are there any books you currently cant put down?
