You know how there are just some favorites from Amazon that you see everywhere and have thousands of reviews? Me too, so I thought I'd try some of them out and give you my honest review!
AZTEC SECRET Indian Healing Clay Deep Pore Cleansing Facial Mask - I've heard that this is GREAT for acne, and apparently makes your face pulse. Weird? Cool? I've heard it really draws things out, which means you might break out a little more at first but it really helps to detox the skin.
*Tip - Do not mix this with metal i.e. spoons or bowls. Not sure what it does but it makes it less effective
Review: I didn't feel the pulsating that it advertised it would have. Henry said he felt it. My face was soft after but do I think it did anything incredible not really. Seemed like your average mask but I did get annoyed with not being able to use metal to mix it since thats all we have silverwear wise. I dont think I would repurchse it. But you only need about a table spoon to use it so I think it may take me 5 years to get through.
Thayers Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel with Organic Aloe Vera Formula Toner - I have heard so much about this toner. Particularly the rose one, but I'm not big into rose so I thought I'd give the lavender a try.
Review: I was surprised by how much I liked this. It felt more gentle than my witch hazel from the drugstore. It did have a weird smell to it, not like lavender. But it picked up a lot of my leftover makeup. That's the main reason I use witch hazel and I think it picked up more than my usual one! I would purchase again!
Posturepedic Original Posture Corrector Brace - My big in my sorority actually bought this for better posture for her wedding. And since I too am getting ready for my wedding and have the worst posture I thought I'd give it a try.
Review: I actually never bought this, because my sister is a physical therapist and she said this really wouldn't do much. Whomp Whomp. But she did tell me to squeeze my shoulder blades, and hold is for a few seconds every hour and that should help the most.
Tinkle Eyebrow Razor Pack of 6 - I've heard that this is great for getting the peach fuzz off your face and helps to make your makeup look nicer. I thought I'd give it a try!
Review: These things work, you may have to go over spots a few times but it works. I will say that if you apply too much pressure they will snap! (I mean they are less than $1 so fair enough) I've never had a problem with them cutting me or anything. They are get for pesky hairs that you don't feel like plucking. I will say with the razor being larger it's sorta hard to get your eyebrows.
Cosrx Acne Pimple Master - This was an ad at the bottom of a BuzzFeed article, so I took a look at the reviews. I swear I read like 40, and I got hooked. I bought a ten pack which is a TON. (dove right in there). The claim was that it drew everything out from a pimple and helped it heal faster.
Review: I'm obsessed! These things really do draw the gunk out. I will say that it works on pimples that have been popped (bad I know!). But it draws stuff out and really flattens a pimple. I will say that it needs time. I usually do mine overnight but if you try to put it on for a few hours it doesn't do much. These are great because you're not touching the pimple either, you're letting it heal. I use to buy really expensive peter Thomas Roth ones and no more. These do a lot more!
So tell me, is there something you bought off of Amazon because it seemed like everyone had it. Did it work for you or not?! I'd love to know!
